Each of these workshops is 6 day long and focused on work in real-life conditions with enough time to go through a thoughtful photographic assignment. The aim is to provide an in-depth insight into the documentary photography process. The individual guidance of an experienced tutor ensures the right direction of your development.

Throughout the years spent in the region, Justyna has become an expert on the former Soviet Union’s republics. Her photographs has appeared in The New York Times, Newsweek, Le Monde and National Geographic. For her long-term and complex work she was awarded the W. E. Smith Memorial Fund’s grant in humanistic photography in 2016. Read more
Nic is a photographer represented by Panos Pictures and a renowned author. He worked for Greenpeace International and UNICEF. In 1999, he received an award from the John Hopkins University for Excellence in International Journalism for exposing the head of the Khmer Rouge secret police and commandant of the infamous S-21 (Tuol Sleng) prison. Alex is a documentary photographer and multimedia journalist who dedicated his career to reporting social and environmental injustice. His work has appeared in numerous international publications, including National Geographic, The New York Times, Newsweek, Foreign Policy and The Guardian. He’s the winner of the 2012 FotoEvidence Award.
Jason is a New York-born documentary photographer now based in Istanbul. His major work, titled Wonderland, has earned him numerous artistic grants and awards, among them: Fulbright Scholarship, Guggenheim Fellowship, The Dorothea Lange/Paul Taylor Prize and The Alicia Patterson Foundation Grant.
